A new Forum has been created specifically for sailors in north Britain, that part of the country largely ignored by the rest, some may say.

The Forum will allow direct and local discussion covering anything about sailing generally, or more specifically in local waters.  You need not let anyone know who you are and discuss matters or vent your opinions (within Forum rules) anonymously.

The level of participation will determine how the Forum expands and suggestions for the Forum's expansion will always be seriously considered by the Administrator.

You can start off by having a look and registering here
.

This has been created for a small but widely scattered community of sailors who don't often get the chance to meet and enjoy good local sailing 'craic'.

Make the most of it!

Introduction

Lossiemouth Cruising Club sails from the marina in the once fishing port of Lossiemouth, Moray. There are regular club and open races held throughout the season in the bay, the Moray Firth and Orkney. Musters are also held at neighbouring ports along the coast and across the Firth.

The club welcomes members and visitors alike.

Members, if not on the water, can often be found enjoying a quick refreshment at the Steamboat Inn which is part of the harbour frontage.

For those wishing to try sailing why not come along and chat to some of the members - crew are always required!
