BenRomach Regatta – Royal Findhorn Yacht Club 2008

Joker, in cruising mode arrived, mid-race on the morning tide. 
The fleet burst into colour creating a magnificent foreground, against the snow capped hills above Cromarty.
Flat seas and light winds made the spinnaker hoists possible; however it was noted that the variable conditions were proving to be too much of a challenge for some! 

Well done to Tjalfe and Elise for getting there in time to take part. Tjalfe’s determination to win was demonstrated when her crew spent the night before the race anchored at the start, but this level of commitment paid off – Well Done Tjalfe !

Other Lossie members were sighted in Findhorn during the weekend but too busy scraping, painting and polishing to do any racing.                                                     
Joker neither raced nor repaired: nevertheless, we all enjoyed participating in the BenRomach whiskey tasting at the prize giving.
Thank you to the Royal Findhorn Yacht Club for the hospitality extended to us and to Findhorn Marina for making us feel most welcome once again.
