Introduction
Lossiemouth Cruising Club sails from the marina in the ex fishing port of Lossiemouth in Moray, Scotland. It is an active club with a full Programme of races and musters held throughout the season. These activites take place in the bay, the Moray Firth, Orkney and, from time to time, the West Coast of Scotland.
Throughout the Mora
y Firth, a continuing programme of improvements to harbour/marina facilities is underway and, with the almost total lack of commercial traffic as well as its famed fine weather factor, the Firth is an attractive location to base a boat.
The club welcomes members and visitors alike.
Members, if not on the water, can often be found enjoying a quick refreshment at the Steamboat Inn which is part of the harbour frontage. For those wishing to try sailing why not come along and chat to some of the members - crew are always required - contact our Secretary - especially if you have any sailing experience!
The photograph shows the twin harbours of the Marina, known as the East and West Basins.
